Can I take this a little bit differently? I’m gonna go guilty pleasure artist. Everybody hates on me for it, but I thoroughly enjoy Macklemore. If I had to choose a guilty pleasure song of his, it would have to be “Church” from his Unplanned Mixtape.

What’s your most embarrassing moment you’re willing to share?

When I was a sophomore in high school, I was on some new medications prescribed by my doctors. Legal, you know… nothing illicit. They knocked me out, so I had gone to get my haircut. I was super out of it, and they asked me how I wanted my hair cut. I said “however you want. Just cut it. Just get it over with.” Then I passed out, and when I came to… I had a buzzcut. It’s… it’s a whole different look from how I am now.

Jonas Brothers or One Direction?

I’m gonna say Jonas brothers, solely because I also share a birthday with Nick Jonas, and I grew up knowing them. When One Direction came out, I was in middle school, around there. I was over that.

Favorite Pokémon?

Rayquaza. Third gen, best legendaries, hands down, no questions.

Who is your celebrity crush?

Kendall- Right now, my crush is Greyson Chance, who’s a musician. He’s very gay, but that’s besides the point. I’m so in love with him, I’ve always a little bit been in love with him. I would say he is my celebrity crush, but more like I wanna be his friend.

I don’t know how people feel about this anymore ‘cuz I don’t even like her anymore, just overall my guilty pleasure is listening to old Taylor Swift. Like, Red album and 1989.

What’s your most embarrassing moment you’re willing to share?

In 8th grade, I was the new kid, so that’s already super uncomfortable to begin with. I was probably only there 3-4 months when this happened… I was in line for lunch with this girl, and [she] comes up behind me and she’s like “Oh, just wanted to let you know you have like, some blood on your pants”, basically meaning that I had started my period… So then I go through the lunch line, and as I checked out at the lunch line, I was wearing these boots and I slipped and fell and dropped my lunch tray on the ground. Everyone in the whole cafeteria got dead silent and was staring at me. On top of all that watching, the lunch lady and the school nurse ran to me to help get me off the ground… The school nurse comes up behind me and she [whispers] “After you eat your lunch, come see me in the office, ‘cuz you have blood on your pants.”

It’s not technically a Vine, but it’s the video of a little boy running, and his mom goes “What do you have?” and he goes “A KNIFE!” and then you hear her go “No!” It’s not technically a Vine, ‘cuz Vine was not out, but it’s the same format as Vine.

This is super hard. I was definitely a JoGirl, but I have to say One Direction: I had a cardboard cutout of Zayn Malik for 3 years.

Maya- As a child it was Jack Black. I don’t know who it is currently. That’s not a joke. That was my first celebrity crush.

If you could be anyone in SCAD radio for a day, who would you be and why?

I think I’d like to be (Promotions Director) Anthony cuz I’d like to know what true power feels like and I think he’s the closest to… you know. Just everything’s going right for him.

What’s your most embarrassing moment you’re willing to share?

One time, I was sitting, I was waiting for my first fibers class and there was an RA that was pretty well-known in the fibers department and we’ve talked briefly before, we didn’t really know each other. I see him as I’m waiting for my class with someone sitting down next to me. He, like, comes up to me and he goes “Oh, hey, hi, how are you doing? Your first fibers class! Are you excited?” I go like “Yeah, I’m pretty excited, I’m just nervous” and he goes “Oh, I was talking to the girl that’s sitting next to you” cuz the girl sitting to me was his resident and I was like “OH, OK.”
