]]> Every two weeks, SCAD Radio staff and volunteers vote for the prestigious honor of Staffer of the Fortnight, a member worthy of such a trophy. Our honoree is now Promotions Director Anthony Lieberman.

Who is your celebrity crush?

Anthony- My old one was definitely Selena Gomez, ‘cuz I watched a lot of Disney Channel, Wizards of Waverly Place. My recent one is Ryan Gosling. He’s Canadian. Did you see him play the piano in La La Land? Like, come on. I try and emulate that constantly.

Name the guilty pleasure song that you’re not afraid to admit you actually like.

“Party in the U.S.A.” by Miley Cyrus, 100%.

What’s your most embarrassing moment you’re willing to share?

I was in Vietnam backpacking, and I really wanted to impress this girl so I told her I could drive a motorbike, but I can’t. I was really confident about it. I went in too hot into a little bridge and I crashed it and cut myself up and sent her to the hospital. She was on the back and I was driving like a man. Felt really good on the bike, not in the hospital. Apologies to that girl. If you read this for some reason, I’m sorry.

Can I choose a Tik Tok ‘cuz they’re similar? I’m gonna choose (SCAD Radio Social Media Director) Hunter’s Tik Tok, he posted it about two weeks ago and it’s about him breaking up with his ex. I think it’s a piece of art.

My Tinder is “I’m fun to make fun of.” Below that it says “Canadian” and below that it says my Instagram.

]]> Every two weeks we honor one of the members of SCAD Radio as our Staffer of the Fortnight. This week, we honor our assistant, Abby Hollis.

We asked her a few questions about her role at SCAD Radio and about herself.

What’s your role in radio?

I’m the General manager’s assistant.

Why did you join radio?

I love music and helping other people discover new music that they would like.

What’s your radio show about?

Artist of the Week, I focus on one artist and focus on their backstory and their music making process.

What’s your perfect Sunday night?

My perfect Sunday would be me being finished with my homework, a cute dinner with my friends, followed by a nice bowl of chocolate ice cream with peanut butter on top.

What is your current jam?

“I Wanna” by Valaire.

If you had an infinite amount of money; what would you do with it?

I would move to paris, open a concept store. A place where a lot of independent designers just use the space and do their thing.

]]> Every two weeks, we at SCAD Radio choose a staffer or a general member of Radio to become our Staffer of the Fortnight. They exude responsibility and diligence in their work, along with having a great attitude and fun presence.

This week, Jeremiah Adams was given the honor. We conducted this small interview to get the gist of what he does and who he is.

What’s your role in SCAD Radio?

I’m a live Dj at SCAD events.

Why did you join SCAD Radio?

For more opportunities, I wanted to be involved in events around SCAD.

Why do you play live DJ events?

Besides producing, it’s a hobby of mine that I enjoy. I want to try and expand my brand. Seeing people dance to different music, it’s just great to see. Honestly, it’s a great experience.

What’s your perfect Sunday night?

Sunday’s my homework day. My perfect day is getting everything done and just relaxing.

What’s your current jam right now?

A new drake song; God’s Plan.

If you had an infinite amount of money; what would you do with it?

Make sure my family’s straight first. I’d get myself a nice-decent house. Then I’d go all out with top DJ and producing equipment. What else…charity. Help everyone out- no one in particular. Any and all charity.
