The movie begins with Kevin causing problems within his family, and wishing that they were all gone from his life. He then wakes up the next morning to see his family \u2013 from what he knows \u2013 has vanished off the face of the earth. In reality, they just flew to Paris and forgot him within the ruckus of leaving (no big deal). Kevin is ecstatic at first, but his feelings change as the movie progresses. At the same time, robberies are happening in the area and the burglars responsible decide to target Kevin\u2019s home. Kevin refuses to go down without a fight, which may be the most hysterical part of the movie.<\/p>\n<p>The last time I watched this movie was when I was Kevin\u2019s age, and for some reason I completely forgot how hilarious it was. I was dying of laughter as the two robbers slid on ice, stepped on glass ornaments, burned their skin, fought with tarantulas\u2026It just kept going and going, and increasingly became more and more funny until the end. Also, Kevin\u2019s random outbursts of screaming bloody murder will surely have you unexpectedly laughing your butt off.<\/p>\n<p>This movie is definitely a Christmas time holiday staple, and I would recommend it over and over again. To make the night even better, get yourself some pizza.
