Every two weeks we honor one of the members of SCAD Radio as our Staffer of the Fortnight. This week, we honor our assistant, Abby Hollis.
We asked her a few questions about her role at SCAD Radio and about herself.
What’s your role in radio?
I’m the General manager’s assistant.
Why did you join radio?
I love music and helping other people discover new music that they would like.
What’s your radio show about?
Artist of the Week, I focus on one artist and focus on their backstory and their music making process.
What’s your perfect Sunday night?
My perfect Sunday would be me being finished with my homework, a cute dinner with my friends, followed by a nice bowl of chocolate ice cream with peanut butter on top.
What is your current jam?
“I Wanna” by Valaire.
If you had an infinite amount of money; what would you do with it?
I would move to paris, open a concept store. A place where a lot of independent designers just use the space and do their thing.
